Jennifer holds trainer certifications through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and Revelation Wellness. She has also has been certified and trained in many health and fitness disciples including Arthritis, Cancer, sports nutrition and behavioral change. She has also developed worksite wellness programs for her local YMCA.

She can work with individual clients as well as small and large groups.  Jennifer can help you develop an exercise program, work on creating short or long term goals in the areas of health, fitness, and spirituality.

Jennifer works as a Wellness Director for the local YMCA. Prior to that, she worked with recovering addicts and their families. She has been walking as a Christian for the past 20 years. Over the past 10 years, physical fitness has become one of her main passions. She is a speaker, facilitator and a certified group and personal trainer. Her passion is working with people to help them achieve their spiritual, physical and health goals!

When it comes to physical training she sees it as an opportunity to live life to the fullest. To learn how to listen and be present with your body.  She believes that you must train the physical with the spiritual.

Working with clients is more about building habits, setting realistic goals and motivation than it is about exercise. Jennifer believes that discipline and perseverance needed in the gym are the same skills needed for success in the tasks of everyday life. Throughout her training with NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine), Jennifer learned a great deal about the importance of assessing body imbalance. Body imbalance can cause difficulties for everyone – from the moderately active to endurance athletes. By first assessing her client’s body balance she is then able to gently guide them to greater flexibility, mobility and strength using techniques like foam rolling, free-weights, stretching and aerobic activity. As there are benefits to both group fitness and working with clients one-on-one, Jennifer offers a mixture of personal assessment/coaching and small group training.

Her goal is to educate, support and empower everyone she works with! She will provide motivation, support and accountability. She will work alongside you to help you come up with a plan to reach your goals and to build healthy habits that will be sustainable for the long term.  Jennifer is committed to helping people realize their own potential and achieve vibrant health! She will take an integrative approach to wellness, with a comprehensive focus on how the mind, body, and soul work together.
