Clinician

Joseph is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (licensed in MA and RI). He graduated from State University of New York at Albany with a Masters in Social Work in 2011. Since then he has been providing direct clinical care to individuals and families – first at South Bay Community Services in Worcester and currently at Wayside Youth and Family Support Network in Milford where he works full time.

Joseph has experience working with people from various cultural backgrounds and with a variety of mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, impulsive behavior, mood dysregulation, and trauma/adjustment issues. He has received extensive training in both Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing and uses both to inform his practice with clients of all ages. He enjoys being able to utilize his faith, clinical knowledge and passion for helping others in his work at CrossPoint. Presently Joseph works at CrossPoint part time and is available on Saturdays.
