Ronald Thompson


Ron has a wide mix of experience – with the common theme being communications. He has spent time in television and video with stints in news, promotion, sales, production management and on-air talent. He has also worked in educational technology looking at the business from both the publisher and vendor perspectives. Along the way he became versed in software development, information technology, and educational products and services. Later Ron became a business owner specializing in education, training and marketing communications. Most recently, he led the marketing efforts of the largest independently owned Orthopaedic practice in Connecticut before joining CrossPoint Clinical Services in 2019.

Ron has a BA in Communications from The University of Massachusetts at Amherst and has done Graduate Studies in Marketing Management at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute’s Hartford Campus.
