Flava is an eclectic integrative therapist whose native Hoosier roots show authenticity and unconditional support and a love of animals and the outdoors. She identifies as a human being with a passion to support growth for those who may not be noticed or valued.
With experiences at an opiate treatment center, in-home family therapy and youth ministry volunteer, Flava balances therapy with landscaping and sports officiating. Her training includes an MSW degree from Salem State University, extensive grief and addiction training as well as being a Prepare and Enrich facilitator, SYMBIS facilitator and being trained in Gottman Level I.
Flava supports grieving, addiction, codependency, depression, anxiety (including OCD, ADHD) with leanings into the metaphysical, Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Nonviolent Communication (NVC). She supports teens through the golden years as well as couples and families.
