The Difference Between Coaching and Counseling

What to Expect on Your Coaching Journey

We take a client-centered approach to coaching. You may be at a place in your life where you need extra motivation and structure, or you may just want guidance and direction on the best starting point.

The process includes identifying your areas of concern, assisting with goal setting, and providing encouragement and motivation along the way. Together we will create long-lasting lifestyle changes. Our system is progressive, structured and systematic.

Our role as a coach is to educate, motivate, provide accountability, reinforce positive behavioral change, and provide caution when you are getting off track.

We will provide frequent reminders of milestone achievements along with objective assessments of progress so that you are motivated to succeed. The ultimate goal is to provide lasting behaviors that will establish healthy patterns in your life. Sustainable change takes time. Let us walk with you on this journey.

What Your Initial Coaching Session Will Look Like

The goal of the initial session is for you and your coach to get to know each other and to identify initial goals. We will have different kinds of assessments based on the kind of coaching. For example, personal training may include body composition and fitness assessments depending on your goals.

You will also complete intake forms and questionnaires and have plenty of time to ask questions and share past experiences.

Helen Granskog

Wellness Coach

Helen is a triathlete, marathon runner, author, wife of twenty-three years and mother of two girls. As a Wellness Coach and Personal Trainer, she is passionate about helping people be healthy and live life to the fullest. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Public and Policy Community Relations.

Helen facilitates individual and group coaching programs for health and wellness. She helps clients identify and achieve health and wellness goals in ten different areas of life, understanding that health is more than just exercise. She designs customized nutrition and workout plans to reach and maintain weight and health goals. An avid student of fitness, Helen recently completed her group fitness certification and is excited to bring her energy and passion to her classes.

Trainer and Wellness Coach

Jennifer holds trainer certifications through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and Revelation Wellness. She has also been certified and trained in many health and fitness disciples including Arthritis, Cancer, sports nutrition and behavioral change. Along the way Jennifer has developed worksite wellness programs for her local YMCA providing guidance and leadership.

She can work with individual clients as well as small and large groups. Jennifer can help you develop an exercise program, work on creating short or long term goals in the areas of health, fitness, and spirituality.

Her goal is to educate, support and empower everyone she works with! providing motivation, support and accountability. She will work alongside you to help you come up with a plan to reach your goals and to build healthy habits that will be sustainable for the long term. Jennifer is committed to helping people realize their own potential and achieve vibrant health! She will take an integrative approach to wellness, with a comprehensive focus on how the mind, body, and spirit work together.

 Our Wellness Coaches are here to help, support and guide you as you set health goals, whether to lose weight, improve energy, better manage stress, sleep better and much more. As a mental health coach we come alongside to help you manage your mental health more effectively, while growing closer to God.

Life Coaching

From a faith-based approach, our Christian Life Coaches will help and encourage you through personal or professional challenges. During our sessions we can integrate Biblical principles, draw from Scripture and pray with you.

Community Membership Coaching

Working to become the physical and spiritual person God intends us to be.

Purpose Posse

Join a community of like-minded individuals who focus on wellness in Mind, Body and Spirit. As a member of the Posse, you will benefit from two weekly, live workouts and meditations via Zoom. Additionally, we meet weekly for a planning time, email content, and prayer time. You will also receive encouragement, support, and connection.

Group Coaching

We help our community redeem mind, body, and spirit.

The Body Revelation

13-Week Program for $150

Do you feel like your body is a problem to solve? Do you find yourself reacting to circumstances of life out of your pain versus your convictions?

Come join me on a 13-week journey through Alisa Keeton’s new book, The Body Revelation, and learn how to metabolize pain, banish shame, and connect to God with your whole self. You’ll receive support, encouragement, accountability, and prayer as part of our weekly small group meetings. Together, we can enrich our lives, celebrate our bodies, and find holistic wellness.

Don’t let the bad things that have happened to you rip you off from the good that God has for you! The Body Revelation will take you from feeling stuck in your body to living wholeheartedly.

The Body Revelation is a thirteen-week Christ-centered wellness program that teaches people to know how to partner with their bodies to maintain peace by staying connected to themselves and God. You will learn how to metabolize pain with movement and the gospel of Jesus Christ. All the principles in this book center around who God is and the Biblical practices that will help you encounter God in your physical body.

The Wellness Revelation

9-Week Program for $99

Join us in our online courses as we learn how to change our relationship with food and our body. God wants us to live healthy and whole vibrant lives that are free from the things that weigh us down. In the 9-week Wellness Revelation course we discuss God’s original design for healthy living and learn how to move away from neglecting or obsessing about food. During the 13-week Body Revelation course we discuss how past trauma affects our body and causes disease. Together we will work on releasing our body from trauma and learn how to process life’s challenges in a way that allows us to live and move free.

Group Coaching classes run on a schedule that is announced as the date approaches. If you are in a group of 3 or more people, the program can be conducted at any time of your choosing.
