Maureen Pattison, LMHC
Maureen is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. She graduated from Lesley University with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a Specialization in Art Therapy. Maureen has worked in community-based, home-based, school-based and office-based settings as a clinician. Maureen has provided mental health services to children, adolescents and their families who have experienced a variety of social, emotional and behavioral challenges.
Maureen specializes in working with children and pre-teens. She loves working with children and families utilizing the healing powers of the arts as well as play as alternative approaches to traditional talking methods of therapy.
However, she also has experience using strengths-based, client-centered models and cognitive behavioral therapy approaches. She is compassionate, optimistic and truly dedicated to helping others work to achieve their personal goals.
Everyone experiences their own personal challenges in life. Maureen believes in using each person’s unique strengths and interests to help each person overcome their identified challenges to find resiliency, hope and strength within themselves.
