Mark Jimerson is a co-founder of CrossPoint Clinical Services and a permanent member of its Board of Directors. Prior to moving to Puerto Rico in 2018, he served as CrossPoint’s Treasurer and Director of Operations and provided both clinical treatment and supervision.
Mark is licensed as a Clinical Social Worker, having earned a Master of Social Work (MSW) at Springfield College, with postgraduate clinical supervision in mental health crisis and psychotherapy. He has a wide range of experience in the field of human services, including work with the chronically mentally ill and homeless in New York City. He worked in various clinical, supervisory, and managerial roles at the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children from 1999 to 2014. In 2002 he received a Supporting Fathering Award at the New England Fathering Conference, and in 2003 he was presented with the Helen Daley Award for service on behalf of the children of Massachusetts.
Mark is a husband and father of four adult children. He provides psychotherapy, life coaching, and consultation services via his private practice based in Fajardo, Puerto Rico. In his spare time, he enjoys writing, painting, photography and gardening.
