Darren M. Waterhouse, MS, LPC

Darren Waterhouse is a dedicated disciple with nearly 32 years of experience and has been a therapist for approximately 10-12 years. Over the years, he has worked with a wide range of populations, providing counseling to individuals from ages 8 to 80. Darren has helped people navigate various challenges, including substance abuse, methadone treatment, personality disorders, schizophrenia, depression, anxiety, and many other mental health concerns.

In addition to his professional experience, Darren has specialized in helping individuals cope with the emotional difficulties that accompany chronic illness and other medical conditions, drawing on both his training and personal life experiences. Currently, he serves as a Christian therapist, using his skills to support others in their spiritual and emotional journeys.

Within his church, Darren plays an active role by leading a married ministry group, guiding the teen ministry, and occasionally assisting with a Unity Group. His passion lies in working with youth and families, both in his church community and the broader community. Beyond his therapeutic and church work, Darren also volunteers in his town, holding two board positions and chairing a committee.

Darren’s ultimate goal is to help as many people as possible not only strengthen their relationship with God but also find peace and well-being in their mind, soul, and body.

Cynthia A. Swan

Cynthia is a committed community leader and mental health professional. She has an outstanding reputation of helping others and has years of experience working within both the faith community and within the community at large providing a myriad of counseling and mental health services. Cynthia believes that everyone deserves to live their best life, and sometimes it will take a therapist/counselor to get us there.

Cynthia is knowledgeable in evidenced-based practices and has training and experience with individual, family, and group therapy approaches utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Narrative Therapy, and Christian Counseling. She continues to stay abreast of new approaches/modalities and interventions in the mental health field. Cynthia has experience treating clients and groups with anxiety, depression, anger and low self esteem. She also has extensive experience working with adults with domestic violence, substance abuse recovery, single parenting, racial trauma, and other related backgrounds.

Cynthia has held both administrative supervisory and clinical positions. She has a Bachelor’s degree from Springfield College, a Master’s degree from American International College, and a Master’s of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Marriage and Family Therapy from Springfield College. Cynthia currently is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Massachusetts
