Helen M. Granskog

Helen is a triathlete, marathon runner, author, wife of twenty-three years and mother of two girls. As a Wellness Coach and Personal Trainer, she is passionate about helping people be healthy and live life to the fullest. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Public and Policy Community Relations.

Not being active in sports as a child, Helen came to love running as an adult in support of a friend who asked her to do an adventure race. After being an athlete for over twenty years and a Wellness Coach for six years, Helen became a Personal Trainer and Revelation Wellness Instructor. She is driven out of a desire to help individuals be their best for those they love.

Helen facilitates individual and group coaching programs for health and wellness. She helps clients identify and achieve health and wellness goals in ten different areas of life, understanding that health is more than just exercise. She designs customized nutrition and workout plans to reach and maintain weight and health goals. An avid student of fitness, Helen recently completed her group fitness certification and is excited to bring her energy and passion to her classes.

Helen’s personal goal is to complete an ironman competition. Her ultimate goal is to help her clients realize anything is possible.

Maureen Pattison

Maureen is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. She graduated from Lesley University with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a Specialization in Art Therapy. Maureen has worked in community-based, home-based, school-based and office-based settings as a clinician. Maureen has provided mental health services to children, adolescents and their families who have experienced a variety of social, emotional and behavioral challenges.

Maureen specializes in working with children and pre-teens. She loves working with children and families utilizing the healing powers of the arts as well as play as alternative approaches to traditional talking methods of therapy.

However, she also has experience using strengths-based, client-centered models and cognitive behavioral therapy approaches. She is compassionate, optimistic and truly dedicated to helping others work to achieve their personal goals.

Everyone experiences their own personal challenges in life. Maureen believes in using each person’s unique strengths and interests to help each person overcome their identified challenges to find resiliency, hope and strength within themselves. Whatever challenge you may be facing, Maureen is here to listen.

 

Joseph Collins

Joseph is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (licensed in MA and RI). He graduated from State University of New York at Albany with a Masters in Social Work in 2011. Since then he has been providing direct clinical care to individuals and families – first at South Bay Community Services in Worcester and currently at Wayside Youth and Family Support Network in Milford where he works full time.

Joseph has experience working with people from various cultural backgrounds and with a variety of mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, impulsive behavior, mood dysregulation, and trauma/adjustment issues. He has received extensive training in both Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing and uses both to inform his practice with clients of all ages. He enjoys being able to utilize his faith, clinical knowledge and passion for helping others in his work at CrossPoint. Presently Joseph works at CrossPoint part time and is available on Saturdays.

Dawn I Shanklin

Dawn is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. She graduated from the Professional School of Psychology at Argosy University with a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology. Dawn has worked in various community based, school and hospital settings as a clinician and adjustment counselor, providing mental health services to toddlers, children, adolescents, young adults, and families.

She is a dedicated, compassionate and skilled counselor with extensive experience in clinical assessment and trauma informed care for children, adolescents and families. The therapeutic approaches she uses are cognitive behavioral, client centered, psychodynamic, family therapy, and client centered play therapy.

Tracy L. Jones

Dr. Jones is a member of the leadership team at CrossPoint and is the site manager for the Worcester and Stoughton offices. She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in MA and RI as well as a Licensed Professional Counselor in CT. She graduated from Lesley University with a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology in 1997 and graduated from Liberty University with a Doctoral Degree in 2019. She has provided consultation for church leaders and members; provided mental health workshops for churches, presents at conferences and has published research, worked as a clinician, licensure supervisor and director as well as an adjunct professor.

Tracy works with individuals and couples from diverse backgrounds with a variety of mental health concerns. Her style is strengths-based, with a Christian perspective. She utilizes Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), introspective and faith-based approaches to help clients heal from trauma, abuse and loss, anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, and relationship problems. She believes that compassion and hope are the essential elements for creating an environment in every session in which change can occur, and resiliency and recovery can flourish.

She has received certifications in mindfulness, ACT, Trauma-Focused CBT, SYMBIS, Prepare/Enrich, Gottman Level I, and advanced training in Christian integrative approaches. As a trainer of LivingWorks programs, she is available to teach a 3-hour suicide prevention course or a 2-day suicide intervention course to groups large or small. As a Prepare/Enrich Trainer, she is available to teach a certification course to prepare clinicians or church leaders/members to facilitate and utilize the Prepare/Enrich assessment with couples.
