Part of our multifaceted approach includes offering both short and long term programs focused on health and wellness – pulling together all of the elements in our lives that make us whole. These offerings cover a wide range of techniques including fitness, meditation, nutrition, spirituality and camaraderie.  These programs are flexible enough to meet the needs of novices as well as seasoned practitioners.

Are you looking for a conscious, deliberate process that requires you to become aware of and make choices for a more satisfying lifestyle?

A wellness lifestyle includes a self-defined balance of health habits: adequate sleep, rest, and good nutrition; productivity and exercise; participation in meaningful activity; and connections with people and communities that are supportive. Our certified personal trainer and wellness coach, Jennifer Allen will provide a positive, supportive connection that empowers you to draw upon your own abilities and potentials. While offering accountability and options so that you are able to achieve lasting lifestyle changes. Coaching is not counseling or therapy.

We can explore the physical, emotional and spiritual parts of life with the intention to set goals, understand how to make the best decisions for you and to be able to grow spiritually & physically.

Whether you are looking to develop and learn an exercise routine, build solid convictions about your health and wellness or set specific goals Jennifer can help you.

Jennifer Allen’s Bio

Before becoming a certified personal trainer and wellness coach with CrossPoint Clinical Services Jennifer worked as a Wellness Director for the local YMCA. Jennifer also worked with recovering addicts and their families. She has been walking as a Christian for the past 20 years. Over the past 10 years physical fitness has become one of her main passions. She is a speaker, facilitator and a certified group and personal trainer.

When it comes to physical training she sees it as an opportunity to live life to the fullest. It is an opportunity and gift to learn how to listen and be present with your body. She believes that training the physical with the spiritual is vital to your journey of health.

She specializes in the areas of flexibility, strength-training, running, sports nutrition, our aging population and general health improvement. She enjoys helping her clients build healthy habits by helping them understand how their relationship with body image and food affects their daily life.

Working with clients is more about building habits, setting realistic goals and motivation than it is about exercise. Jennifer believes that discipline and perseverance needed in the gym are the same skills needed for success in the tasks of everyday life. Throughout her training with NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) Jennifer learned a lot about the importance of assessing body imbalance. Body imbalance can cause difficulties for everyone – from the moderately active to endurance athletes. By first assessing her client’s body balance she is then able to gently guide them to greater flexibility, mobility, and strength using techniques like foam rolling, free-weights, stretching and aerobic activity.

As there are benefits to both group fitness and working with clients one-on-one, Jennifer offers a mixture of personal assessment/coaching and small group training. Jennifer has also been certified in many specialties in the past 10 years. She is a certified water Aerobics Instructor, Arthritis and Livestrong Instructor. She is trained in Motivational Interviewing skills and is a Revelation Wellness Instructor. Since 2017 she has developed and had oversight to the Worksite Wellness programming at the local YMCA.
